The house “Hestehagen” ( “Hestehagen” means the pasture for the horses) is the smallest of our holiday houses built in 1905. The house was totally renovated in 2001-2002 and a new bathroom was built in 2016.
From the house you have a wonderful view to the Sognefjord. On the northern side of the house there is a neighbouring house, but you do not see the house from your windows or from the lawn. Parking place for cars is about 30 metres from the house.
“Hestehagen” (65 square metre) is gentle restored, and is furnished with a mixture of Norwegian farm antiques and modern furniture. The house has sitting room, kitchen, hall, bathroom and two bedrooms. One bedroom has two single beds and the other bedroom has a double bed.
Bedlinen and towels can be hired for NOK 150 per set. (Please order bedclothes together with the booking).
The house is heated with electricity, but in the sitting room you find an open fireplace. Use of firewood is free. The house is equipped with “all” you need: dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen range, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, vacuum cleaner, radio, TV ( Only Norwegian channels) and wifi. There are all sorts of kitchen utensils.
If you need a childbed or a child chair; please just ask!
In the garden you find garden furniture and a grill.
